This video dance explores the intimate bond between a mother and her daughter, who has taken flight toward her own life on another continent. It is a love letter born of the body in movement, weaving affections across distance and transforming absence into presence within the heart, bridging with words the seas of remoteness. Dance becomes language when words fall short; the body speaks what distance silences. Through the camera as witness and accomplice, the piece is created in the empty space, where nostalgic memories converse without being present before one another. Each movement is an act of poetic resistance against absence, each frame a way of sustaining the connection across the screen, turning remoteness into a geography of affection that transcends physical borders.
